Since its inception in 1997 Hope for the Future, a 501(c)(3) Community Development Corporation (CDC), has been serving low to moderate income families in Washington, D.C. by developing and assisting effective programs that focus on education, health/nutrition awareness and personal growth.

Our vision is to serve as a gatekeeper and partner with various local and national social outreach providers which have a common purpose: to provide urban neighborhoods with alternatives to the traditional “street” bondages of educational failures, hunger and poor nutrition, child abuse, low self-esteem, unemployment and crime.
